The Ultimate House Concert Experience.

The great thing about live music is its energy and unpredictability – you don’t know what’s going to happen and it’s different every show every night. It’s a collective experience that’s very personal at the same time.

If you love “live” music, why not have an acoustic concert right in your own home, or business.  Part of the pop up experience is a performance of singer songwriter, Sara Lynn’s original music accompanied by acoustic guitar or keyboard. How It Works.

Sara brings fashion partners with her to add a personal shopping experience to the event. Potential partners could include designer clothing, jewellery, makeup, hair, spa, and accessories. The fashion presented at pop ups is done in an entertaining and thoughtful way. You extend special invitations to at least 5 of your guests to have their makeup, hair, and wardrobe styled for the event. That’s right – they get to be part of the show!  They’ll love the personal attention and the rest of your guests will be relaxed and entertained with a salon-style fashion showcase and acoustic performance by singer songwriter, Sara Lynn! It’s a great way to find out about current and upcoming fashion trends while shopping in the comfort of your own home.

Can I Attend A Pop Up Party Without Hosting One?

Yes. We often have tickets available to boutique pop up parties that are open to the public as long as space permits. Since some of these pop ups are “sold out” quickly we recommend you sign up for Sara’s newsletter and receive information on advance ticket sales!

Who Should Host A Gorgeous Pop Up Party?

Our pop up parties appeal to women of all ages, styles, and budgets. We will choose partners for your pop up party appropriate to your guests. Sara’s music is eclectic, original, and ranging from jazzy blues to dance remix. Visit here to listen.  You must live in the Fraser Valley or Vancouver Lower Mainland to host a party.

Can Businesses Host a Pop Up Party?

Yes, in fact we encourage it. Businesses who participated in the past are already contacting us to participate again! If you own a spa, salon, or fashion boutique, Gorgeous Pop Up Parties are a great way to promote your business, reward VIP customers, and participate in your own community. Cross promotional opportunities exist between event partners both physically and online via social media. Our official photographer shares images online post event adding an additional promotional opportunity for all. When Should I Plan to Have My Gorgeous Pop Up Party?

Weeknights between 7 and 9 PM or weekends between 1 and 4pm usually work well for people.

What Should I Expect At My Pop Up Party

To have an amazing and entertaining time with your friends and family listening to “live”original music. The shopping is interactive and there is no pressure to purchase from our partners. Guests can be casual and will have an opportunity to try on all the jewelry, fashion, and accessories presented at the show.

Is There A Cost Associated With Pop Up Parties?

Yes, each guest must purchase a ticket so that they can enjoy an acoustic house concert and fashion showcase. As the Hostess, you do not pay for a ticket. You just invite friends and family to your event and we’ll help with the rest.

It’s a little uncomfortable asking friends to buy tickets or purchase something at the Pop Up. What if they can't afford it?

Most people who love music and fashion will realize what a unique experience it is to attend an acoustic house concert and personal fashion show so they’ll be happy to purchase a ticket. Of course, we also hope they’ll love what our partners have to offer — enough to purchase a few things — but, there is no pressure.   We appreciate it when people tell their friends about it, or even book a Pop Up Party themselves. Besides, the invitations clearly let people know this will be a shopping event combined with fashion and entertainment.

Are There Hostess Rewards?

The Hostess receives up to $75 in FREE swag from our partners as a thank you for hosting and sharing the pop up experience with friends and family!

What Forms Of Payment Are Accepted At Pop Up Parties?

This will depend on the event partners. Each partner will process their payments differently. Most accept major credit cards or cash.

Can A Friend Co-Host A Party With Me?

Absolutely! It makes it easier to get a larger group together to attend the event.

Can I Have A Pop Up Party Somewhere Other Than My Home?

Yes. You can have a Pop Up Party in your amenities room, home, office, or anywhere comfortable to you and your guests. Contact us if you are uncertain about the location you have in mind.

What Should I Do About Invitations?

We recommend that you email your friends and family to settle on a date that works for most people. Once you’ve confirmed a date we’re happy to help you with personalized Email invitations to your guest list, along with a clickable link to purchase ticket(s) in advance. 

Should I Have Food and Drink At My Party?

Keep it simple. Light appetizers and refreshments work best. We find that people are so engaged in the event activities that they don’t eat much at a Pop Up.

What Products Will Be At the Pop Up Party?

We work with a variety of partners representing fashion apparel, accessories, makeup, hair, spa products and services, as well as jewellery. We will work to find partners appropriate to your guests.

How Far In Advance Should I Plan My Pop Up Party?

At least 30 days in advance. We need time to coordinate partners and ensure Sara’s schedule is clear for your event date.

How Many Guests Do I Need to Have?

You need to have a minimum of 15 guests in attendance. Each guest must purchase a ticket so that they can enjoy the acoustic house concert and fashion showcase.

We need a minimum of 5 guests to participate in the fashion showcase. It is best to confirm a date that works for most people in advance. Then we’ll help you send out Email invitations, and friendly follow up reminders.

Is My Home Too Small?

Most living room and kitchen areas are all the space we need. It’s about sharing the music and fashion in a fun and positive environment with friends and family.

What If My Friends Can't Make It?

We need to know at least 2 weeks in advance if your friends can’t make it or you wish to cancel your party. We’ve reserved time in Sara’s schedule as well as with our partners. Tickets sold to your event will not be refunded without at least 2 weeks notice.

Does It Take A Lot Of Time To Be A Host?

Before your Pop Up Party, we will help you plan everything and assist with sending invitations on your behalf. On the day of, we’ll bring everything we need. You just greet your friends, socialize, and enjoy.

What Do I Get For Being A Hostess?
